The morning rose and Gerald woke up slowly in a hospital bed. After being examined with various tests, they found nothing. Gerald's sister was worried sick, as him sit on the bed and looked to his right and saw her sister sleeping.
- "Some of us had some fun last night..." - The masked man appeared on Gerald's left; catching him by surprise. - "Why did you appear now...?" - Gerald softly whispered. - "After pursuing me in my childhood, why did you come back now?! Why do you have such desire in ruining my life?!" - Gerald began shouting without realizing, surprising his sister, making her to wake up. Gerald kept looking at the masked man as he faded away. - "Huh.. What happened?" - Gerald's sister looked around and as soon as she saw Gerald awake, she jumped out of the chair. - "Gerald! I was so worried! You came from school and had this shocked look, then you passed out... god I thought something bad happened to you..." - She hugged him as close as possible. - "Sis... What happened in the school...?" - Gerald softly asked, looking away. - "The police tried to identify the men and they appeared to be a bunch of junkies who stole a truck and were under the influence of drugs. I'm glad you were out of the school by then..." - Gerald's sister hugged him more closer.
Gerald stood quiet and waited for the opportunity to receive order to leave the hospital. It didn't take long, though. By the end of the day, he was already in home, told by the doctor to stay in home for three days and if something happens, return to the hospital. Well, school was closed for a while anyway, so Gerald had many days to recover. Gerald didn't have much hunger, so he skipped dinner and went straight to bed but after some hours, the voices appeared again; "Accept us", "Let us out", "Don't fall towards fear", "Do it", "What are you waiting for?", "Now!". Gerald was forced to wake up, by his side was the masked man looking at him. "It's not a good hobby to watch people sleep..." Gerald softly said.
- They were not junkies... - He replied. - Oh.. this again... - Gerald sighed and turned with his back to the masked man.
The masked man sighed and touched Gerald's bed. Without him noticing, Gerald was already inside of his mind. The masked man grabbed the sheets and pulled them over - "Just what the hell man?!" - Gerald shouted and then looking the vast place filled with voices and looking creatures. - "Welcome to your mind... we are your salvation" - The masked man shouted, then removing his mask and revealing behind it, shocking Gerald.
